Causes of damage to slag pots

In the process of slag pots production, technicians are needed to monitor the whole process, because in the process of processing, if the control is not strict, there will be some factors affecting the service life of the product, so effective measures must be taken to ensure the quality of the slag pots.  What exactly will affect the quality of the product?

1. Under the influence of abnormal slag in converter, the slag pots are generally safe, but if abnormal slag is produced in converter, it will threaten the safety performance of the product, so in the process of converter use, attention should be paid to the treatment of abnormal slag.

2.The surplus of the continuous casting ladle, because the casting residue of the continuous casting ladle is both molten steel and molten steel, and their temperature is either close to or higher than the melting point of the steel, some technical treatment needs to be done during the processing process to avoid the molten steel directly touching the slag pots itself when the casting margin is large, and the molten slag pots causes penetration, or the corroded part produces greater adhesion to the slag pots after cooling and solidification. It will cause damage to the slag pots body.

3. The external blow causes damage to the slag pots.

In the process of use, there is a bond between the slag pots and the steel slag, so that the operation of turning the slag pots not be carried out, so it is necessary for other mechanical equipment to hit the slag pots continuously in order to pour the slag out, and in the process of hitting, the mechanical force will be transferred inside the slag pots and superimposed locally, resulting in the damage of the slag pots. Therefore, when in use, the operator should be handy with this operation to reduce the external damage to the slag pots body.
